Alternate Mode: Challenger 2 tank
Galactic Powers:
- Extensive tactical knowledge, providing battle plans and pointing out weaknesses in enemy plans
- Thick armour makes him slow compared to the other Autobots but nearly impenetrable
- Hands can retract to reveal chainguns for faster, closer-range combat
Bio: An older 'Bot, Breaker worked his way up through the ranks during the Great Wars, noted for his brilliant battle plans as well as his fortress-like armour and powerful long-range cannon. After the war, he cycled through other various occupations, trying to find something that would last. Battle was distasteful for a time, and he left the military to first help in the reconstruction process, then trying his hand at teaching only to become restless. He rejoined the Autobot army, staying in a cushy top spot and helping to recruit and train new members. He became dissatisfied with this as well, as it eventually became clear that the Decepticons were (seemingly) gone for good. Ultra Magnus, in creating the Guard, called on Breaker to join as their masterful tactician. Breaker agreed, joining as a senior member. Though he gets along swimmingly with Ultra Magnus, his former CO, other members can tend to wear on his nerves.
Breaker would rather not fight at all in any battle. He believes that his place is in the war room looking over a map and the position of troops, attempting to find the best way to reduce 'Bot casualties while increasing 'Con's. If there's a way he can think of to trick the Decepticons into a trap where nobody needs to engage in combat, he'll do it. If confronted one-on-one with an enemy, he will even resort to mind games if possible to avoid a conflict. Much like Ratchet, he has become disenchanted and can be seen as a grump who is stuck in his ways, but he does what he must and what he is ordered to do without question or hesitation. He is very down-to-Earth (so to speak) and prefers a mental challenge to physical activity. Slow and steady is a lesson he takes to spark, prefering to deliberate and think everything through, much to the annoyance of speedier 'Bots like Bumblebee. He is perfect for long-range attacks, as his back-mounted cannon can fire accurately for farther than any of the other 'Bots weapons (though it is inactive/generally useless when not in his alt-mode). Normally he cannot keep up with the others in his alt-mode, but if needed, he can resort to his chainguns. Like Soundwave and Wheeljack, his battlemask is set firmly in place at all times.
While generally friendly and with seemingly infinite patience, getting on his bad side is nothing short of dangerous. He also doesn't care for when his suggestions are completely ignored; doing so would be unwise, considering he normally has more than a clue as to what he's talking about. At least, that would be his own opinion.
